“What i like about it is that we can just be free here.”

  • Dance Empowerment

Our classes happen weekly throughout the school year. We focus on creating community within our group, learning and strengthening social-emotional skills, having fun, and building confidence and ease within our bodies. Dancers have a variety of skill levels, and no dance experience is required. Our younger classes focus more on creative movement, following along to choreography and dancing the way that feels good to them. Our older classes work on technique, choreography, and performance skills. Dancers choose a group project to showcase for the end of term. All classes strive toward creating a real sense of belonging, where each dancer is valued as an important member of the group. This is not a high stress dance environment. We are focused on cultivating joy through the process of making art together and the magic that comes from lifting each other up along the way.

  • Camp Shazaam

Discover your inner Super Hero! Build confidence, practice new skills, make new friends, and explore aspects of your personal power. We do arts and crafts, get outside, and explore the performing arts. Activities are camper-led within a structure that nurtures a brave environment and celebrates diversity. We promote the idea that we are stronger together and work toward a shared goal. Our end-of-week performance party is not to be missed.

“Fun. Exciting. Inspiring. Rebellious. Creative. Encouraging. Fun. Community. Empowering. Friendship. Creative. Fantastic. Fun. Creativity. Imagination.”
